Does anyone know if the track to Craig's Hut in Victoria's Alps is open yet. Weather permitting I would like to make the trip next Sunday 28th.

I am fairly sure most of the tracks don’t reopen until November 1st.

Always check with Nat Parks or the tourist info centers just before you go. It will be scheduled to open on a certain date but that does not mean a foot of snow wont fall the day before and keep it closed for another week or more. Snow can fall even in mid summer down there.
