Yep. There are egos in botany and some become quite adamant in their opinions. No different to any other group, I guess.
Still, it doesn't diminish the joy of discovering something rare or beautiful on our travels.

Hi Gary, Thank you for your revue. You may not be aware that Val died of cancer earlier this year. She was a botanical expert, and loved to help others to enjoy her passion. She wrote this blog, and in fact most of our
blogs, and contributed often to the
