Wombie - Andrew of Andrew and Jen fame always asks for 50%. His policy is 'Seek and ye shall receive'.

Ruth,

Now is probably as good a time as any to remind you that we are booked in at your place (with the LCOOL Double Simpson group) in early July.... My Exploroz card will be in my left hand as I shake yours with my right ;-)))

(you don't have any pull at the pub do you?? - we've got a group booking for tea - 50% off would give me brownie points for the whole trip!!
Cheers,

Ivan

The only way it would work at the Pub is to wait until Happy Hour then go the free party pies and wedges that come out about 20 past. LOL.
I didn't say Andrew & Jen were SUCCESSFUL, I just said they tried!!! Hahaha. (Yep I haven't forgotten you'll be here soon).

If you're as good-looking as Pesty, people will PAY you to accept their products or services, eh Ruth??
The REAL power of the EO card has not been realised yet.
However, Andrew did fail in his attempt to gain a discount from Mr Lexic when he paid his camp fees last night at the Berri camp site. Mr Lexic would have been agreeable to accepting the card, but nobody would bend over to enable the card to be "swiped". Which leads me to another point........Andrew was not true to his word, I'm sorry to say. Despite being asked several times by Gerk, Willie, Des Lexic, Steven L(....sorry, I mean Muddy 'doe), Noodie, Peter and Lez, Bob (sans Lex) and myself.....he simply would not perform the promised prostate check on Pesty. He gave some lame excuse about always using a rubber glove ( and not having any on his person) on a 1st encounter, but I reckon that probably shouldn't be any excuse because they've already been up to the top of BIG RED together and we all know (don't we Ruth) what happens up there!!!

That Pesty was telling stories about the top of Big Red - he is a Bravo man than me!

The prostate check thing - well he had been camping for four days, no shower, and had a force ten gale exiting the said orifice and my arm is only two foot long and my head was not going that close...

well the power of the card should be awsome.
i would be expecting 75% but would go down to 50% no lower.
that should be off the total of the whole cost.
if you come accross some one who isnt willing to discount that much try a bribe with a sticker.
