Any ideas ?
It had a heck of a lot of pilot support, and obviously heavy with 2 trucks to pull it.
In the distance I thought it was a transportable, but the building is a lot more heavy duty that that.
There's a long load in the video first half, the wide load starts at 0:51 seconds.

Ha ha, thanks for the replies, but read the OP.
Video section starting at 0:51.
I think I tracked down the answer anyway, just looked up Robin Johnson Engineering, they specialise in wind
farm manufacture, so the wide load (big heavy room) is related, possibly tied up to the blade delivery earlier, which was further up the road . . .
They are in
Adelaide, so I guess there is a new wind
farm being built or extended in Vic somewhere.

If they are part of the same project then that 'large room' will definitely be part of the switch gear, turbine control systems etc.

Les.
Yes the blades are for wind turbines but the building may not be all that heavy.
If the building is part of the windfarm they will have to negotiate uphill tracks to the site in the hillswhichcan be damp of loose surface. Just one truck can pull it uphill, but where traction becomes an issue the front truck with the traction block above the bogie drive has to be there to provide surety of delivery. It will have traction independent of the main unit. No good having it slide backwards uncontrolled down the hillside.
The front prime mover is insurance.
PS. I thought a Balckvue DR650 would see number plates clearer than
the pilot car plate is. Been looking and can't decide on one.
Cheers

Cheers RMD, I would have thought if that was the case they'd just hook up the extra rig where needed on site.
Maybe the hills on the way are a problem too.
I think youtube mucks with your video and reduces it to whatever they see fit when uploading.
Not sure but it's a pretty good camera, I did slow / speed up parts, which might also upset clarity.

Thanks Les.
I suppose the video has gone through a few degrading processes before seeing it.
I see, rereading my PS, my blood group and the word "Blackvue" are both TypeO.
