This is the only
airstrip safe for night time landings for the roughly 300 km between Amata and Blackstone (Papulankutja Community), as nearby hills make both the Pipalyatjara
Airstrip and
Wingellina Airstrip unsafe for landing in the dark.

I think your links relate to a different air strip near
Canberra; not in WA.

Racey,
I think you will find that the
airstrip links in the OP's post were created automatically by the
forum software. They all link to the same location. Eg
airstrip airstrip airstrip.
I did not create any of those links.
Cheers

Is the place comment system actually working? When hardly anyone states where the place is in the opening line. It seems to be a bit iffy from there on. It is good the
airstrip is available but most of us don’t fly caravans to need to land there.

Try scrolling down to the 'Related Pages' block that has an
airstrip linked in it.
A bit of googling and its an
airstrip near Nyapari SA, up near the SA/NT Border. a few hundred km west of nowhere.

RMD: I didn’t create the place, and I can see no way to edit its name. Hoyks is correct: I will add Nyapari to the Description.
(Note that I added information which may be useful to some people. You may not feel it’s useful to you, and if so you’re allowed to simply ignore it — however, if you have a medical emergency on the Giles-Mulga Park Road after dark and need the RFDS, you might quickly change your mind.)

That looks suspiciously like Dick Smith’s property at Gundaroo, NSW.
