Yes, the road north from
Lawn Hill will take you out to the
Savannah Way just a little west of Doomagee. It is unsealed but OK. And of course is shorter than going back through
Gregory if you intend proceeding west on Savanaah Way.

No worries friar. That is the beaut part of travel. No matter how good it is, there is always the joy of returning to the Sunshine Coast.
If you are going through
Borroloola you can get a decent cup of coffee at the coffee
shop next to the supermarket. And it is a long way to the next decent coffee.

Going north from
Lawn Hill you will find the deepest water fairly soon on the first property. We were there late in the dry and it was still quite deep for a standard Prado but I got through with no problems
After that there are a few more
places but not as deep, road was typical outback stuff, slow in
places but we got through OK.

I don't even remember water crossings but I suppose there may have been.
That is the thing with the Troopy, it has so much clearance that such things as water are so minor that I forget they exist. lol
