Tonight I attended a lecture by Larry, covering his 2018 discovery of a cache of excess equipment left by the
Barclay - Macpherson 1904-06 expedition.
Fascinating hearing it from the source, with behind the scenes accounts.
There were also a small collection of the relics, which we could pick up and hold, that was pretty cool too.
This was put on by the Royal Geographic Society of SA Inc, and
well documented by video.
It will be uploaded to their YouTube channel in the near future, so maybe keep an eye out here at this link . . .

When we go up there in early June this year again, we will be within a stones throw of the discovery site, and should be able to drop by and see the area and
plaque Larry has placed there.
