Can anyone advise how far from Dalhousie Springs is the track to Spring Creek Delta Lookout? I missed it in 2016.
Best I can come up with is 28.2km. However, with a few vehicles behind me I want to be sure.

Cheers

I reckon it is about 6k to the turn off and another 12k to the lookout?
EDIT - Screen shot of our GPS track from 2017 on the HEMA 1:150,000.

Hi Micheal M34,
This is a great little track, we went out to the lookout in 2015. It was pretty slow going with a couple washouts that we had to go "off track" to get around, but the view at the end is well worth it. According to the local rangers, this was part of the original track from Dalhousie. From the jump up where the lookout is, the track wound down and onto the clay pan which was very soft in places. The rangers got sick of having to pull people out of the bog, so they graded a new track that led around the clay pan, this is the track in use today.

Used to always go past the Spring Creek Delta on the way to Purnie from Dalhousie.
But maybe around 2002 or 2004 the new bypass track was put through - it followed higher ground so it wasn't closed as much after a rain event.
