While all the wiz kids are thinking about the post that Baz (NSW) has, can anyone tell me how to adjust the speed of the moving map on Ozi Explorer? The way it is now is that the pointer is always behind the actual postion of the vehicle. The map will move and then stop for about 5 sec and then move again. Is it possible to have the map moving all the time while the vehicle is moving.

For those that might have a smart answer. No I was not travelleing quicker than the time it takes the signal to travelle from the satellite to the GPS.

Go to the File menu and select configuration. There is a tab called moving map, so select it. On there there is something that says screen update rate. I've got mine set to 0.

Hope this helps

Thank you Spanner, you got it in one. The adjustments are made and will try it again on the weekend.

LOL..and once the signal gets to the gps it then has to travel to the pc and be processed before being updated on the screen so depending on your speed it's usual for you to be slightly ahead of the pointer mostly noticable with the smaller scale maps.
