Hi
I wonder if anyone can help, i have an inported Lancruiser Prado turbo disel automatic on a 1990 vehicle. The hub lock button on the dash is not locking the front wheels(it used to) and only the rear wheels are locked, Toyota Uk are being a pain in the A*** as they have no idea how the thing works, when it did work, when you disenged the hub lock it disengaged with a soft thud as you drove away in high ratio anone got any ideas as to why its not working now so i can give to toyota uk it has power hubs on the front wheels
Regards
Kevin

Sounds like it may have an ADD system (Automatic Disconnecting Differential) as in the 4 runner/surf of the same vintage. This is a vacuum operated system so you may have a leak somewhere.
Workshop manuals for the 4 runner/hilux have some info on ADD.
Also try:

Good luck!
