I don’t, so the answer is no and can’t talk about brands.

However, when we purchased out tent, a Southern Cross four peg with centre pole, it was because it allowed good cross ventilation.

Whenever we use it, or our TVAN, we look at the environment to work out where it might be best situated to ensure a ‘good comfort level’ with regards to temperature.

And there are times, not too many, where the temperature gives us some discomfort but never to the point where we considered an air conditioner is needed.

So whilst I can’t give any recommendation on portable air conditioning for a tent, I’d encourage you to look at other factors you can influence. After all, how often would you need to use it and it adds another complexity when it comes to power.

Camping for us is about reducing complexity.

But good luck in your search...

And perhaps there’ll come a time that me and Mrs Landy are wishing we had that air conditioner!

I don’t know of one either but if you find one do you have a power source to run it?

Like Baz said, tent selection has a lot to do with it, we have camped in 50 plus degrees and you can be comfortable if it is not stuffy
A mozzey dome tent is a good thing to carry for hot nights or some use those little battery fans to create some airflow

I personally haven't had air con in a tent but seen it and thought what a great idea, this guy just had the smallest box type unit same as you would put in window of house he had it sitting on a milk crate into the front of tent and just had zipped up as much as possible that way all water from air con dripped onto ground, you could run hose from air con drain to get water away from tent. Cheap and easy. Cheers Alan
