Hi to all,
can any one help me? I have a turbo timer with 3 wires. 12v, earth, IGN, my car is a diesel. Would it work if i ran the IGN wire down to the fuel cut off solinoid and attached it directly to the solinoid along with the original wire?
Any help is much appriciated as i am an electrcal quamby and quite frankly can't get my head round how it works with only the 3 wires anyway!

Cheers to all Nino.

Nino, turbo timers are very basic in principle however they can become overly complicated awful quickly, especially when you introduce central locking and 3 stage alarms/imobilisers.
They are a very good thing to have though, specially when the missus is driving the beast around, because you know when your not there they just turn it off, no matter how they've been treating it!! LOL
Anyway, checkout this site it has instructions and pictures for hooking up a basic 3 wire turbo timers to a diesel surf, would imagine the pootrol would be pretty similar.

Jeff,
Thanks for that. Its exactly what i was looking for.
I have to agree about the missus. She never waits for the motor to wind down!!!!!

Cheers Nino.
