Hi everyone, I have just purchased a portable TV for the kids to watch in the car. As the aerial supplied with the TV is not picking up most channels I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to purchase an external aerial (magnetic based if possible) that would pick up the frequencies alot better. As the kids would prefer the ABC as their favourite channel I would like to pick this up a little clearer. Look forward to hearing from someone!!!!

Annie,
Does the tv have a socket for an external aerial? If so try somewhere like Dick Smiths. I have also seen them for applications in boats and caravans, so someone who sells accesories for either may be able to help.
Steve.

I have used a flat one sitting on the dash board with decent success. There are some
places you just aren't going to get reception without a big aerial anyway.
