Telfer road is open, and so is Tallawana to
well 33. You have no dramas from 33 to
Marble Bar, i don't know what the conditions are like east of
Well 33. Best person for that info would be
well 33 store manager Carl.
Cheers

Have been researching this route for a trip in the opposite direction.
Not a lot of info about but it appears as there will be little or few problems to be encountered other than the usual (fuel, tyres, water & mechanical breakdowns).
Have been as far as Telfer turnoff and it's smooth sailing for that stretch.

Steve,
we went from
Kintore to 80 mile beach in April. West along Desert or
Gary Junction Rd to
Kunawarritji at
Well 33 on CSR then the Wapet or Kidson from there. The Telfer was closed then. To get to
Kintore we headed west from
Marla, across the top of SA to WA (Wingellina and Blackstone) then up the Sandy Blight
Junction Track to
Kintore.
The road from
Kintore to Well33 is in fair nick. Evidence of recent flooding near
Pollock Hills.
My photo is of Len Beadell's truck west of
Kiwirrkurra
