You will really enjoy your stay ay Muloorina, and it is just a great place to fit back by a campfire, and enjoy the solitude of the area.
Like any drives, lower your tyre pressures and drive to the conditions and you will have no problem at all.
I am not sure if you have been out that way before, but if you have not, head out of
Marree on the
Oodnadatta Track and the signposted turnoff to Muloorina is only a couple of kilometres out of
Marree.
We collected our firewood a few kilometres from the campgrounds turn off, where there was lots of dead timber.
If I was in your shoes, my 2 nights at Muloorina would be the first night out from
Marree, leaving your
camp setup and then doing a days drive out to
Level Post Bay, then coming back, get the campfire going again and then just sit back and watch the cattle come in for their evening drink.

As you are coming up from Marree, veer left at the track junction to take you to the camping area
A walk around the Muloorina Wetlands is worth it
The track out to Level Post Bay - just drive to the conditions
Nothing beats a great campfire at the Muloorina Camping area
