hi there !
i am looking for a good reliable diesel mechanic for my hj47 landruiser troopy 81 model.
we don't know any mechanics in
melbourne and if anybody could recommend a diesel mechanic who knows about the older models that would be fantastic !
we are planning a trip to western australia and would like a
check up so that we know we will make it there... any help is welcome !!

Hi Tobias,
I was impressed with J&A Diesel (Aust), located at 1/1a Levanswell Road, Moorabbin. Tel 03 9555 4384. They are off Chersterville Road, near Keys Road.
They supplied and fitted a changeover injector pump for by 2.8D Hilux about 18 months back, for $700 cash. They know what they are doing and their workshop is spotless. They even lent me their old Merc to pick up the kids from school while they finished the job. I stayed and watched them do most of the work and a lot of local work came there way while I was hanging around. I put that down to a good reputation. - cheers Anthony

Ive used AG Diesel in Clayton. They have a 4 wheel dyno and did a good job of tuning my 200tdi disco for a bit more go.
