I'd imagine that's a missprint 'cos I'm pretty sure it's 3500 kg

I just went and had a look at the site and it looks right. 3500 kg on road and 1000 kg Off-road. Any way would you really want to tow any more than a tonne off-road!!!!!!

I think the limit for a TD5 is probably pulling the skin off a custard pudding.

Hmmm. Some vehicles match the TD5 for towing capacity though I don't think any have the strength for a higher tow rating, including the Landcruiser Goran. In terms of facts - the TD5 will tow 750kg braked on or off road, 3500kg braked on road and 1000kg braked off road. Regards Slunnie

Regular readers of this list will immediately see that Goran hasn't had the counselling he so desperately needs. Either he had a bad childhood experience with a Landrover, or he has a problem with the Poms. Come to think of it, all those Goran clones with Landrover tales of woe have been pretty quiet lately. Maybe the medication is working after all Goran.

Now come on everyone...stop picking on Goran. After all he provides us with very valuable input in this forum. I can immediatly think of 2 things he has helped us with immensly.
Firstly, he has informed us where he haunts, so we can keep clear of the area in case he accidently shhots one of us ( specially disco drivers).
How many psychos do you know actually tell you in what area they live :)
See, one great service already.
Secondly, I love Goran cause when he posts, I take the posts home to my wife who rolls around on the floor laughing. So, there is the second service Goran provides us humor, and at his own expense, its just cant get better than that.
Hey, I just thought of a third service he provides us...by posting as he does, some of us can rest easy at night knowing there really is someone stupider out there.

Thanks Goran...keep up the good work.

PS...Those who critisise something, in this case disco's, are usually jealous, I think Goran secretly wants to own a Disco.

I towed the Wiluna school bus that had broken down some kms out of town. Don't know how heavy it was but at least 2 maybe 3 tonne. Did it with ease!
