Hi
can anyone tell me whether you can fit the normal Toyota GXL 17” rim to the rear of a 200 series VX model which is currently fitted with a 18” rim. The pitch circle diameters on the studs are the same on both rims.
I understand a 17” won’t fit the front because it fouls with the calliper but are uncertain whether this problem exists on the rear wheels. Also if it is a problem is it the offset or inner diameter of the rim.
I only propose it as an emergency situation.
Cheers Craig

A quote directly from the LCOOL thread. 17" wheels will not clear the larger brakes/callipers that came out with MY16 and onwards.

So it depends on what year VX you have

Evidently there are aftermarket rims you can purchase from ROH

You cannot fit a 17 inch from other 200 models on the VX from MY15 onwards as it does not clear the larger brakes that come with this model.

It will fit all pre 2015 wheels and the rear in a 2015 plus rear wheel. Offset and pcd are the same.

Another option is the roh octagon 17". It has a 48mm offset and will fit the front or rear.
