We will be doing the Canning this year, in 2011 Toyota 79 single cab, stock engine/exhaust. Interested to hear of others with same vehicle of their fuel usage and how much they carried.

Thanks, Kevin

I have a 2017, 79 Series dual cab and tow a Mountain trail camper, all up 5.22 tones and my worse bush trip was 22l/100km and averaged about 18l/100km

Just finished with 2016 d/c. Aux tank 110l + standard 130l. All up weight 3.4tonne. Added 100l at Parrngurr for trip to DQB. Then 114l at Kunawarriji. Still had full main and quarter in aux at Billiluna. Too lazy to do maths - still shaking from corrugations.

Regards
