I fitted this cruise control to my 92 GQ 4.2 dsl ute about 2 years ago and it worked very
well but now I have just got an 01 GU 4.2 turbo dsl wagon and would like to fit it on the wagon. I was just wondering if any one could tell me an ezy way of connecting the speed sensor wire under the bonnet rather that tracing the wire from the gear box and also which colour wire is the correct one to connect in to
cheers to all for replies in advance

I was told in the main harness coming thru the firewall at the drivers side. In this harness is a single
grey wire and this is the electric speedo pickup for the original speedo. I hooked in here on my 2000 GU2 3.0tdi and had no problems.
Hook in under the dash if you can, no water in here, you hope, to corrode splice.
I am assuming 2001 wagons had the electronic speedo.
