A bit of video and drone footage of our trip into Darlsen Pinnacle last year.

Thanks Jacko for the incredible stills.

G'day Mick O

Again a very nice video and to quote your signature quote.

"We knew from the experience of well-known travelers that the trip would doubtless be attended with much hardship"

My trip into the region earlier this year rates very highly, not only for the scenery, the difficulty terrain wise and the issues encountered (tyres mainly) but the isolation and the fact that not too many 'outsiders' get to see Darlsen Pinnacle first hand.

Thanks again for your personal input in respect to what Hugh attempted, I was impressed and humbled.

Safe travels : Joe

You can't fail with a video when you do it in country such as this.
Thanks for sharing. Appreciated more than I can say.
Cheers

Thanks for sharing Mick, brought back memories & that 8 wheeled Argo how does he cope even with the tyres flat there a rough ride & all the chains must pick up every bit of grass etc.

Probably not obvious in the video Duck but the Argo is running the Michelin Tweels. We were testing them for Argo on both the XTV and their prototype ATV (Quad). Great on the quad but a real bastard on the XTV. With no air, you loose all suspension. The Argo relies on the low pressure tyres for its suspension and you're 100% correct, they simply wouldn't survive the Australian desert conditions.

I'll try and put up a photo a bit later on.

Cheers

Mick
