hilux low fuel light indicator

Do the current model 3 litres have a low fuel light? The manual does not say. If they do how much is left after the light comes on?

Mine is the 99 model 3 litre SR5 non turbo and has an aftermarket 115 litre tank. I have only run it down to needing 110 litres and there was no light coming on. I would hope that if there was a light that it would give me more than a 5 litre buffer.

Floyd,
The current 3.0 turbo diesels DO have a low warning light (I don't know about the naturally aspirated diesels).
I would guess about 5 - 7 litres left once it is fully on, i.e. not intermittent or dull

Hi floyd,
I had a 98 d/cab 3L non turbo base and that did not have a fuel light since then I have bought a 03 turbo diesel d/cab base model which has a low level fuel light because they saved the money on no hand throttle
