Hello,
As promised I am letting you know the results of our search ...

After spending about $400 on Mechanical Inspections (State Roads are better than the NRMA) and being let down a couple of times by a vehicle that promised something but the owners were being a tad too good to be true ...

We finally purchased the following:

1993 XS Jackaroo 3.2 lt V6 5sp Manual. 157,500 km on the clock! It was fully factory optioned with all the LS features (except the immobiliser). It has the 3rd row seats that look just like the seats you sit in up front!

It had been owned by a GMH manager and was fully serviced at Holden dealers and (most probably) put to auction 10 months ago - where upon it was bought by a yard who sold it to it's last owner who hardly used it and then got a company car. He sold it to us for $13,000 on the Queens Birthday long weekend! It was a long trip down from Canberra to Melbourne (and back) to get it - but well worth it!

We're happy - it's in excellent nic and we look forward to actually using it off road!

That's about it!
Cazo
