Thanks for the response to my query, yes it is a great place to live. I imagine you use a bus for travelling going by the username? We live in Edmonton and have a ute with a canopy, it's our latest vehicle after a long list of vehicles. Had the opportunity to get a fully equipped bus for free and have slightly regretted missing the opportunity ever since
Do you use the Traveller or Toppo apps for finding your way around?

Excellent plan TomC13, we have planned as far as turning right at the highway at Edmonton. Too much mental energy required to plan ahead.

We use camps 6 for general direction and wiki app for more details. We're not a big bus but an ex telstra canopy on the 4.2 patrol. Enjoyed 6 mths on the road last year and keen to repeat.

Saw your reply re Traveller App. I have it and up till now just used it to give me a map of where I am. But recently have been getting to grips with track logging by doing some
test runs using both my phone and a little tablet with a bigger screen. We camped at Tallaroo on the
Einasleigh recently so I recorded that trip on the tablet and using the ExploreOz website on my laptop when we returned. You can even see where we looped around the station tip to dump our rubbish on the way out. Great app and plenty of FAQ help and tutorials and videos. But basically you turn it on and let it do its thing.

G'day all, nice to know there's a few local members, should get my sticker this week.Used to use Camps 6 and found it to be quite good. We'll do the
Einasleigh trip in the near future. Have a Dmax with a full sized canopy now and hoping not to have to use the tent too much. Been using old pub accommodation when possible.
