Whilst working in The Middle East 20 years ago, counted 14 people in a Subaru Station Wagon one evening. No windscreen, and no rear window in the wagon.

When I was in South Vietnam ('70-'71), I watched a 3-wheeled Lambro ("Tuk-Tuk") pull up, late afternoon, at the roadworks we were doing - and THIRTY SEVEN - Yes, 37! - rice paddy worker girls climbed off, and out of it!!
The Vietnamese are only small people - but the Lambro was chocko-full in the back, with girls sitting on each others knees, while there were 4 in the front with the driver, and about another 10 or 12 hanging off the body!
We even saw one Lambro driver carrying a bull in a Lambro!
And it wasn't uncommon to see Mum, Dad, and three kids, as
well as chooks, ducks, and groceries, all being carried on a step-thru 50cc Honda scooter!
Cheers, Ron.
