Here's a couple of clues
It's obviously a water wheel.
In a roadside reserve.
It's was in one of Vic/NSW border towns
It's gone now - removed in 2013
That might help !

My photo was taken about 2003

Ok my turn - can anyone pick this? It might look obscure but it is a major Australian location and relatively new POI at a very popular spot within that location so shouldn't actually be hard. If it is, that means you haven't been there and perhaps you need to go! ;)

Oh alright yes Mark Hugh was first that is correct. It's apparently called the Red Carpet Sculpture and whilst it is a art piece, it looks much like a skate boarding ramp and YES it is allowed for kids and anyone to skate board on it!

No I didn’t know where it was. But , I just thought it may have been left for a few more to see it and have a go. I was at work thru the day , so hadn’t seen the post till the evening. The day wasn’t over.

I guess
pick this place is new, and no real rules (and don’t really need them) someone I think commented to keep it to Australia, which it needs to be. But yep I think they should be left longer , some others had been revealed early too I think.
I’ve got to get around to checking my own photos and put one up.
