Hi Paul,

Looks like the view from Marriner’s Lookout at Apollo Bay in Victoria.

Cheers, John

Geez !

That didn't last very long

Correct John, Apollo Bay Vic, even down to the name of the lookout !

Seeing that went so quick, I had a spare up my sleeve.

Although I don't think this one is too hard,

Cheers

Paul

Sorry Michelle

Incorrect

Here's a couple of clues

It's obviously a water wheel.
In a roadside reserve.
It's was in one of Vic/NSW border towns
It's gone now - removed in 2013

That might help !

Cheers, Paul

OK

Since it hasn't been there for 6 years now it might be a bit hard

It was in Australia Park in Albury
My photo was taken about 2003

Here's a link to an article about it's removal

Hi Duncan

Yes that correct, once someone gets it, as John did, I go back to the pic & enter the name
I thought that's what you are supposed to do once solved

Ok my turn - can anyone pick this? It might look obscure but it is a major Australian location and relatively new POI at a very popular spot within that location so shouldn't actually be hard. If it is, that means you haven't been there and perhaps you need to go! ;)

Looks awfully like the ramp-thingy outside the Australian National Museum in Canberra.

Isn't is supposed to be a Magic Carpet or something ?

Not real good with art !

Cheers Paul.

Oh alright yes Mark Hugh was first that is correct. It's apparently called the Red Carpet Sculpture and whilst it is a art piece, it looks much like a skate boarding ramp and YES it is allowed for kids and anyone to skate board on it!

G’day Paul
No I didn’t know where it was. But , I just thought it may have been left for a few more to see it and have a go. I was at work thru the day , so hadn’t seen the post till the evening. The day wasn’t over.
Anyway thanks for putting it up , I am enjoying “pick this place” . there’s a lot to see out there, seen a fair bit myself but there’s so much will never see every bit of our great country.
Cheers

Ha ! No Problems Shane,

I'll leave it up longer next time.
Was thinking it was too hard this time around & hadn't had much interest so thought I'd wind it up.
Didn't allow for you workers !
Maybe we should let them run their course until possibly Thursday if no one can get it.

Cheers

Paul

Gday again Paul,
I guess pick this place is new, and no real rules (and don’t really need them) someone I think commented to keep it to Australia, which it needs to be. But yep I think they should be left longer , some others had been revealed early too I think.
I’ve got to get around to checking my own photos and put one up.
Cheers
Shane
