After posting a article on how to treat snake bite I thought I share a story on the consequences of being bit. A local snake catcher was about 20 minutes south of were I live and had just caught the largest Tiger snake he'd ever seen. While putting it in the bag the snake has managed to bite him under the arm. They raced him via ambulance to the local hospital then straight to
Ballarat were he was placed on life support in the ICU. 24 hours in the ICU and two antivenins and he is on the mend. He has been told he was very close to not making it.
