I am in the process of fitting a front mount inercooler to my 3 litre diesel. Is it true that if you have an air/oil separator on the pcv that u can get away with rubber hoses instead of silicone?

Don't skimp on the hose quality, silicone hose and proper bolted clamps are the go.
Also make sure the ends of your pipes are properly lipped to prevent blowoff as
well.. Do it once and do it right, won't cost that much more.. Better than a leaking intercooler system
