Has anyone recently done the road to
Cape Leveque with a caravan (18ft tandem)

We did it in September. Quite slow and rough but there were quite a few vans making the trip. A lot of the road is being re-done - even possibly sealed in the near future. Most of the 'form' work on large sections are actually completed but traffic is re-routed beside the main road on skinny make-shift tracks but again - there were quite a few vans on the road.
Cape Leveque is stunning.

Hi Muzza. We stayed actually at
Cape Leveque but alot of vanners went onto Oyster Bay.
Yes - definitely go there again. I assume your van is offroad?
Another option is to leave your van at
Broome and stay in one of the glamping tents at Kooljamin. Stunning.

I stayed at
Middle Lagoon last time which had been a quiet and pretty spot. It was chockas with gennies running people's A/Cs.
Beagle Bay northwards is tar. The rest is supposed to get sealed.
