Founded in 1966, Eldorado Tire was established in Michigan by Kelly Calamari, as a member-owned private brand tire company. B. F. Goodrich originally supplied its tires and Eldorado became a pioneer in the private brand industry.

In 1970, Eldorado made some changes and began selling the brand to non-member distributors. Five years later, The Cooper Tire and Rubber Company became the exclusive manufacturer of Eldorado Tires. Since then, Eldorado has sold over 25 million tires nationwide.

Treadways Corporation acquired Eldorado Tire in 1995. The corporate offices moved from Troy, Michigan to the Treadways corporate headquarters near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1999. Eldorado now has over 90 distributors that sell to hundreds of dealers all over North America.

The Durango can be found on page 19 of this catalogue.
