This article is misleading at first, and wrong about the size of the shift in NSW and Vic, but he eventually gets to the point. It's a good example of why science writers shouldn't try to be smart-arses. If your Uber driver pulls up on the wrong side of the street a 1.5-1.8m coordinate shift on maps ain't gunna make any difference. Anyway, fwiw:
NSW and Victoria just jumped 1.8 {actually 1.5m} metres north
