Well its been a few weeks since someone has put up a post, so its long overdue.

For all you learned travellers, do you know where this place is and what it is called?

Hi Stephen,

I believe it is Shell Hill near Mannum in S.A.

What makes this so unique, is the Oyster Shells are 5 million years old and it is the only location in the Southern Hemisphere where the shells were deposited above ground level.

Yes I have mate, I'd read about it some time ago and so when the opportunity arose late last year I went there.
So unique, one of those spots that should be better known and promoted, certainly to increase tourism to the local towns/area.
