Just 10 days to go and I still have to finish off building dual wheel carriers. I have been able to do some of the machining at work during my lunch break but I will have to go in on Monday, my day of rest, and finish off the milling and a bit of turning on the lathe. A bit of welding to finish them off and then fit them to the rear bar.
At the end of the 10 days I will pack the Cruiser head off to Broken Hill, Yunta, William Creek, Oodnadatta Dalhousie Springs, Simpson Desert, Birdsville, Innamincka, Cameron Corner then onto White Cliffs. From there a quick run up to Alice Springs to do the Kimberley trip. All up 50 days on the road with Eliza,( read the 11y old feral). There should also be some people taging along with us and that is the main reason that I have to go away.

For all the other adventures out there that happen to come across our path, stop and say G'Day.

Thanks Wayne, we needed to hear you're going away for 50 days & getting paid for it , I feel much better now. As long as you don't have paying passengers its great job but if you do you can keep it.

G'day Bob,

I've already got dibbs on Wayne's job if he ever gets sick of it!!!!!!! AS IF!

I'm not so sure about your concerns about having a paying passenger though.......So long as she met my stringent criteria and could cook, the 28 year-old blonde could ride along for no charge!!! LOL

(Lucky for me SWMBO is away at Ulladulla for a week or so.....her mum fell over on the sunday of the long weekend and busted her hip; had a full hip replacement with only a spinal block last thursday. She couldn't have a general cos of her acute ashma).

Cheers, Bob

Wayne...have a good one and keep the shiny side up!!!

Willem,
I will not be in Peterborough until the 18th July. Thanks for the offer of a cup of tea, but I will have to take a rain check on that one.
Good to have you back.
