feedback on the nissan navara np300. Reliability and capability?

Mate,
check out Tyler Thompson on Youtube. He's on his 2nd one after his first got stolen, so he obviously likes them. He does a lot of touring and camping along the east coast and sometimes gets right into some of the tougher tracks without getting stupid about it. He's got a very nice manner and his clips are very entertaining. His father often goes with him in an MUX.
Edit: I should have added, he's done several review clips on the car, good points, bad points plus Nissan warranty support.

Did they flat tow it away or is the security system easily overcome to be able to drive it away?

I don't know the details but I seem to recall they may have broken into the house while they were out and got the key that way? I can't say, but he got a new car from the insurance and bought the same car again. It was found stripped and wrecked in the hills near Port Macquarie. He lives up that way.

Isn't Nissan likely to look after a person with warranty etc, who advertises their product for Free on U tube or similar? Perhaps not a true situation for the average person to believe if asking about the vehicle and it's reliability. Randomly asking owners in supermarket carparks, street or out on the tracks is far more representative of the real experiences had by owners
