Wanted to follow up on the earlier discussion on Telstra Sat Phone plans. I cancelled my internet/
home phone contract with them and was waiting to see if they also cancelled the $10 plan. Just called them and the plan and the number are still current. Still $10. So far, so good.
Thought I'd let you know, for those interested...

Ditto have no connection with Telstra any more except my $10/mo "satphone" plan. Just received the latest bill, for $10.
As long as it lasts I'll be "hanging in there".

Hang in there as long as you can for sure...given my recent post stating my plan increase going to $40pm. They are giving me a $10 credit for the next 12 months so it's still a bit cheaper than a standalone sat sim...but not much, $15.
I asked why some are increasing and some not...Telstra's answer is they'll all be increasing this year.
So who know's why the inconsistency.
