Looking to see if anyone has travelled this road.
It mostly follows the north side of Mayne River.
It goes through Mount Windsor station.
A station road only or is there public access?
Rod.

It's a station road, Rod, but you wouldn't be able to access it because it now passes through a
restricted access area that we mere mortals don't have permission to enter.
Edit: You may be better travelling up the Diamantina River Road to Old Cork, then cutting across on Cork Mail road via Cork Station, and up the
jump up to the
Jundah Road, just north of Lark Quarry turnoff. It's
well sign posted these days.

Thanks Bob.
Last August we went up the
Jundah Rd from
Stonehenge. Camped on the
waterhole at the Mayne
River crossing.
Next day was Lark Quarry then to Old Cork. Day after thru to
Boulia.
In the middle of planning 2021 trip.
We have around 9 or 10 days to get back to
Brisbane from Lorella Springs.
Looking at a couple of nights in Diamantina NP and was going to go back to the Mayne river
waterhole.
Might have to go the long way. Fuel may be a problem.
Rod.

Rod,
That road is shown on my Hema map as private road, but ring the station and enquire- they may give you permission.
A few years ago we travelled via Old Cork and Cork to Lark Quarry and that was a nice drive and we camped on top of a jump-up.
