great to see it again. did it in june 2011 with the late Dick Brown. Just passed emu heading west I found the road was missing a bit. cost me 4 shockies. A hell of a drive for the next 700 or so kms. would put photo of it but not that smart but it is on my profile. would do it again dbn05

Shame about the shockies hehe.

Was Dick Brown a well known chap?

Only 4 shockies? What about a front end and sidesteps??????

You were lucky, mate.

one mag wheel suffered a bit, gearbox mounts as well as engine mounts. none of these stop us from carring on to csr the shockies were replaced in Leonara as well as needed two new batteries
I NEVER get lost, but don't i see a lot of NEW places.

We towed a boat from Nullarbor roadhouse via Knowles Cave, Cook and Voakes Hill Corner then west along the Anne Beadell in 2006. The track was still pretty good those days.
Only saw 2 other vehicles (coming the other way) for the whole trip although were 5 others 1 day in front of us led by Connie Sue and Mick.

Still have not driven the eastern end. Was on the plan this year .... but .....

Nice, I liked the Bishop's Pulpit as well, I reckon it would've been a good climb a couple of years ago hehe
