Got to give you some points there Tony for the innovative and accurate guess.

This little spot was the best value overnighter in the world....ever (excluding free camps lol). I'll be happy with the name of the lake though.

Spot on Reggy. Actually camped at the Boundary Creek Campsite, a small promontory of land that juts out into Lake Wanaka near it's north western end.
