The fuel companies are not the real thieves here. Nearly 50% of the price of fuel is paid in excise. Excise is paid when the fuel is loaded in the tanker at the supply terminal, and then you pay GST on top of that again, so a tax on a tax.

strongly suggest using F10 or similar if not much driving being done, esp diesel algae buildup and condensation with cooler weather.

Dean K3,

Waste of money IMHO, Premium Diesel already contains a biocide.

I'm finding my Landcruiser runs just as well on this $1.07 cents per litre diesel as it used to run on the $1.69 stuff. I'm going to stick with the cheap stuff from now on.

Well I can't quite work this out - my diesel consumption has gone down by about 40 litres a week but for some very strange reason my Hahn Super Dry consumption has gone up by 14 litres a week !

Where's Scully and Mulder when you need them ??

Hi Muz
Mine has gone from 5 days per litre back to 60 litres a week. Been good as it's gotten the flat spots off my tyres from sitting so long in the shed. Lucky the price is still cheapish at $1.13 near work. The school run might start again soon so that will get you out and about again with your partner in crime.

Last filled our 100 series on 27th Oct and not switched to the sub tank yet. Only gets used for camping trips or a drive to keep the tyres round. Hopefully get to fill the tank for our trip to Karijini in July, if our restrictions get lifted.

Filled our tank Feb 8th - still full - total Km since then - about 10 Km to get back from the petrol station. Current fuel consumption about 7 L per annum. No chance of going anywhere until June, earliest...
