G`day
I have a meridian gold with a 256 mb card and discover aus on the card.
My mate has the meridian marine, in which i want a copy of the base map on this for when i am boating. Can i copy this base map to
mine or do i need to purchase a seperate card for this or i am unable to do it?
Cheers Tim

Basemap is not stored on card but on internal memory. It is possible to change basemaps if you happen to know what to do. I am however lead to believe it breaches some copy right laws. You could of course send it to Magellan and they will upgrade it for a fee.
If you wish to research doing it yourself, look through the archives of Magellan Meridian user group

Cheers
