We will be on Fraser from 18 to 31 July. Will take some pictures and report for you.
Last year about this time there were
Dingo fences and electrified grids around all the villages and camping areas.
We stay at Happy Valley and when driving out one morning there were 4 dingoes standing near the electric grids and guess what, backpackers feeding them.
Then over fishing on the west side at Wolli Creek a few days later this cheeky
dingo came up to my bait bucket for a free feed.
The dingoes have been there for over 45 years that I can remember together with the brumby's who are long gone. Wish Fraser was now like it was back then. Progress and easy access has certainly changed the place, together with peoples attitude.
Anyway us Qlder's are lucky that we can roam and enjoy our state in a beautiful climate. Off to
Cape Melville in September is the area is opened.
