A big job for this family, especially as they're taken on the bakery as well.

I hope it isn't too long before we Victorian outcasts can visit.

Hi George

With 428 new cases today and further deaths, reports are that the borders for Victorians will no be open and remain closed for a very long time.

All we can say is that all fellow Australians are thinking of you in these very serious times.

Thanks Stephen.

It's all looking a bit grim here at the moment, and we may not understand exactly what's happening with the growth factor for another week.

Muzbry, MurrayR, Robin and I were going to attend Coffee Club yesterday. My wife had a bit of a laugh: something about four old guys, each in his own 4WD, parked nose-to-nose in a public car park with their take-away coffee, and talking on their CB UHF radios.

How creepy is that, she said?

She was probably right.

See you on the other side, Stephen.

.... and how to keep us out of their state...LOL

Stephen, I really think SA should take 4 Victorians on compassionate grounds . The Premier, The Health Minister, The Medical advisor, and especially his Deputy Advisor. Compassion to the other 5.5Million people in the state that is.

Danial Andrews constantly blames Victorians for the mess we are in. He is right of course, they voted him in.

The security guards and the people who knowingly broke quarantine should be put in jail.

Can’t blame your pollies when a minority of people won’t do the right thing, won’t get tested and continue to ignore the greater good of the whole country not just Victorians
Your Premier seems a pretty calm and level headed person in his announcements on tv and is trying to do the best he can with the mess that Victoria currently is in unlike your opposition leader who is just trying to gain political points

Best Victorians can do at the moment is stay at home and try and fide the storm out, oh and get your younger group’s to accept it is a reality and they too are vulnerable

Sorry for rant but we are all at risk not just Victorian

Funny how the premier was being called Dictator Dan etc. because they were seen to being too tough, then Victoria is the state that’s got the biggest resurgence (so far)

I think he is being called Dictator Dan because he brushes aside important questions about why the government has not taken action and the influence the Chinese government has over the labour party and Dan.

XiJinDan is called a dictator because he is under the control of a Beijing based dictator. He is calm when asked a question because he doesn't really care but his "office" demands he gives the illusion of compassion. If he had immediately stomped on his Ceda meats outbreak instead of hiding it and ending up with at least 154 of them infected which he then had to admit to. Mates looking after mates there. Then he can lock down much of Vic but didn't bother to stop a certain stupid March which allowed folk from towers and suburbs to gain the Wuhan Flu and spread it far and wide. Of course he then blames families, not himself. He makes no mistakes it seems to him. His family is responsible for most of it by attitude alone. By any measure he and his team of total idiots have refused help and stuffed up every situation so far. The looking after mates led to quarantine debacle which allowed NO quarantine to be done unlike other states which did it right. No some evading Vic have spread it a bit to other states. When has a Labor gov ever not stuffed the society or economy. History states always a disaster.

On the running a business. ( instead of covid19 issues)
I don’t think running any business is easy , ( 20 years myself) and it would be a bit harder out remote anywhere. Small business owner’s generally have to work very long hours to be successful . No 38 hour weeks for them.

Your'e dead right Shane. Many people who have never run their own business seem to have unfounded concepts about it, but nevertheless expound their beliefs on how to do it. It is all-consuming and not always as profitable as it may seem.

However, there is something very satisfying about being solely in control of your own destiny.
Cheers

They may be 'new' to the Pub and Bakery game but both have been very successful in their other business endeavours , hence the ability to buy the Pub and the bakery , a touch of 'hands on' and good management and staff will see the Pub continue as an 'icon' and the Bakery flourish through the seasonal events ....
