No permits are give for travel along the GCR, East of
Warburton.
Don't know for sure but you probably won't get past the Uluru check point when travelling towards the West.
Cheers G.

The CLC aren't issuing permits, so the only way you could get past the Uluru park entrance station would be (mis-)using a park access pass. Given that they have a 24/7 checkpoint out at the
Kintore junction dealing with traffic on the GJR, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a checkpoint either at the commencement of Tjukaruru Rd or further west towards Docker River. There has traditionally been a fair bit of "local"traffic between Warakurna and Docker River. If that is not currently permitted then maybe west of DR.

According to the Main Roads WA travel map, the GCR is closed at the border.

Given the situation in Victoria I don’t think it will be soon.
There has been some fine tuning of the rules for entry into WA and I am not across all the details but I would guess it’s not being made easier.

That's totally understandable as it is better to be safe than sorry.

.
This site provides concise information for each State.
WA entry is available only to those with special reason, and that does not include tourists.

The Tjukuru road (from Uluru to WA border) is closed to tourists indefinitely. There is a
police check point near Docker River. Communities here do not want tourists passing through, so please do not travel this road under any circumstances. I am a docker river resident by the way, thanks.

Andrew, I had expected that a closure would be there - and applying to tourists. Do the "locals" still get to move between DR and Warakurna?
