Check out Kedron Caravans, they are currently number 1 on my list for a caravan.

i WOULD GO KEDRON, even though I have an Atlantic caravan, and it was purpose built for off road[ read black top roads] we do a lot of dirt roads and it is not realy up to the job.
the in-laws have the Kedron in Queensland and it does the job very well, off road and on.

JB might be worth a look.

We picked up our brand new Gator this morning which is one of their single axle 17 foot off road models.

Cruisemaster suspension, piano hinges throughout and a 3 year chassis warranty on any track in Australia were big selling points for us.

At 70k, we thought it was good value.

My brother bought a JB. He's spent a lot of time working outback, has high standards and the ability to judge by them.

How many people?
Would you consider a hybrid or does it need to be full sized?

Have a look at Australian Off Road. Very capable, dust proof, off road vans.

AOR for me too - have had ours for five years and (apart from this year's lockdown) it's taken us anywhere we've wanted to go.
Another worth a serious look is the Track Trailer Topaz, made by the company which makes the indestructible TVans

Another vote for AOR. Great quality, with after sales service second to none (not that you'll need it much).

Me also for AOR. They dust proof with a smoke test and are light and strong.

have a look at bushmaster vans made in melb,5 year warrenty on everything on the van , warrenty allows you to take it virtually anwhere you can take the tow vehicle, best list of inclusions i have seen and a 20 foot off road van is less than $100000.

Sunland caravans are robust and excellent for dirt road work. They are well supported from the factory with after sales service and any warranty issues.

With our 2014 Patriot version we have traveled all around Australia on many of the outback dirt roads and sure there have been niggles but all were minor and easily fixed. All in all very satisfied.
