The posts are an improvement Al. I went through there in 1985 and they actually had posts made from the local mulga. Not exactly dead straight but they gave a fair approximation of goal posts.

My next visit was 22 years later and the metal goal posts had replaced the mulga. You'll not the difference in conveyance no doubt Al :-)

I have to digitise my trip photos which are thoroughly buried in the shed waiting transport. When they get unpacked it will be the first one I scan for sure.

I reckon the right hand post was crooked from about half way up and bent further to the right. It would have given the goal umpy a fair bit of leeway I reckon lol.
