Hi, we've just returned from a 2000k trip and the awning works its way loose like .5 cm on the front. Its nothing drastic but annoying. Just wondering if someone knows how to tension it so it stays completely closed all the time. Thanks Trevor

Hi Trevor,

Can you post a photo of the awning in it’s closed position? Might be a bit easier to advise if we can see a photo.

Wind it right out and give it a bit of a tug on each side to make sure it's out as far as possible. Then wind it in. Worked for me

Then leave it in the wind up lever position. not the unwind release position.

We do this with ours and it stays tight against the side of the van

Trevor, Did the Fix on our Fiamma on our Sprinter Campervan sometime ago it was probably like the Youtube below, but from memory ours was on the rear end of the awning.

Thanks, I had a look at the front like the YouTube video had and could not see the adjustment there when I was on the road. I will have a look at the back today. Thanks for the information.

I've always been concerned that the awning could fly open at speed like a big sail
I use a 50mm wide piece of Velcro wrapped tightly around the arms – just in case

We are also having issues locking the awning closed, especially with a wet pack-up. I'll look at the video with interest. Fiamma also have a trouble shooting doc.
