Well done. I was just going to suggest that location myself. Fantastic spot with a bit of water in it. The bird life can be amazing.

Sorry Bob, Mick and thinkin, it’s not
Lake Cohen. Both lakes look similar and are in the same general area but
Lake Cohen is not located in a Common.
The Common was created by the WA Department of Mines in 1898. There are still active mines in the area today but not as many as there were in the past.
The Common is located near two popular 4WD tracks. One of the tracks was built by Len Beadell. The lake is about 3 km from Len’s track.
Cheers,
John

Well done Dunc. On some maps the lake in my photos is called
Uramurdah Lake and the much larger Lake Way is immediately south of it. The two bodies of water probably coalesce when the area is inundated.
The common is called
Wiluna Common.
The vineyard is called Gunbarrel Grapes Vineyard and incorporates Gunbarrel Laager Travellers Rest.
On WikiCamps the
campsite is called
Wiluna Clay Pans.
It is a pleasant
rest stop or
campsite for travellers on the Canning or Gunbarrel . One advantage for camping is some thick stands of mulga can provide protection from the wind.
Cheers,
John

Whoops, I made a mistake. I borrowed some of the clues that Equinox gave for
Lake Breaden yesterday. As both lakes are on the same route I did not check. Thinkin is correct. The latitude for the photos of
Uramurdah Lake is 26 degrees 39’ 51.18” S.

Not only is it south of the 26th parallel which threw me, but also hundreds of kilometers west lof longitude 132degrees. it is actually closer to 120 degrees longitude. Though saying, it was still good research to do for future ideas
