Hi there,
I was just looking at some tents made by a company in Queensland called Longway Leisure,
they look really good quality with a fair price,i was wondering if anyone here has any experience with these tents and what they think of them.
any assistance is much appreciated thanks.

They claim to be the manufacturer of Kodiak tents, but I am pretty sure they are made by Kodia in the USA.
"We are the official manufacturers of Kodiak Canvas Tents World Wide and the official Australian distributors. "
Maybe they own Kodiak but I would be surprised.
They make a few other Australian claims but if you read it carefully I think they are playing with words

Yeah it looks like they are made in the USA but I'm only really interested in the quality and performance of the product

Can't help Shane but that
6 person tourer (6 adults standing upright presumably) is dirt cheap at $499 for a (supposedly) quality canvas product. They look the part.
They are
made in China.
Sthn Cross Canvas tents (made in Au) are 375gsm, these are 330gsm by comparison, but surprisingly around the same weight.
There are some reviews on google for Kodiak tents.
