A quick message to all my fellow travelers, 25 Kilometers Adelaide bound from Port Augusta, roadside bay, some Arsehole people have dumped hundreds of Nails, bolts and screws all over the road area, cleaned up what we could but be careful, cheers.

Sorry Nick, saw it on another site. As per the original poster, it was 25 kms south of Port Augusta.

A lot depends upon where you measure the 25 km from. Distances are often measured from the post office in a town. If so then the 25 km takes you to around the Horrocks Pass turnoff. If you measure from the roadhouse on the edge of town then you get to around Nectar Brook which is around 8 km south of the Horrocks T/O.

There is nothing that fits the bill on either WikiCamps or the SA Rest Areas map. I suggest it is an un-named rest area, either informal or local council provided.

Just be careful if you are in the general area and wish to pull over

Why are the persons/person an Arsehole ? they are only human beings and it might not have been deliberate.
