Please be kind to me I'm a newbie with Exploroz!
I purchased Traveller, ETopo and
membership for just over $100 recently.
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong as the quality of the maps and the details aren't very good.
I'm a long time user of DAST and the maps on my 15 year old version appear to be better than what I'm getting with Traveller.
Is there a web page where a newbie like me get some help with using these apps?
I have Explorer installed on my tablet which is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A.

A screen shot might be helpful to help with diagnosis.

Andrew,
There is a user manual at the bottom of the
home page of the App.
Or try the help desk on the
home page of the website.
I think you may have over zoomed the offline maps.

Thanks TrevorDavid I have had a look at the help sections. I decided to see if Exploroz was on Facebook and discovered that it was and that a new version of ETopo will be out very shortly. So I am now not in a big hurry to learn too much about the current version.

Andrew theres no change to map operation. As others said the offline map has over zoom levels on every 2nd zoom step as an option to see an enlargement of the previous level. Look at the number in between the + & - zoom controls. If its RED it's an over zoom.
So avoid those and go up 1 or down 1 level to the level with full clarity resolution 100%.
